This is the type of thing I like to see in the news. There is so much negativity and craziness in this world. So it's good when you get to see the nice and heartwarming stories.

This story has been going around Facebook and the video has been shared a lot. I think a lot of people would like to see more positive things like this. It gives you a restored faith in humanity.

In the video, a man is seen giving a fellow subway rider assistance by literally giving him the shirt off his back. He noticed this man, presumably homeless, with no shirt and the temperature was 45 degrees in New York City the night this video was taken. Not only did he give him his shirt, but the kind stranger also gave him a hat to wear.

According to the Huffington Post, the person recording the video, Lazaro Nolasco, said that he heard the Good Samaritan ask if the man he gave his shirt to would like to go to the hospital. Nolasco said the man answered that he did want to go to the hospital. He's not sure what happened once he got off the train, as the two men both stayed on the train.

It is really nice to see good people in action.

Here is a shortened video, but you can see the full video on the Huffington Post's website.
