P.T. Barnum’s Estate Sale in Bethel Could Turn Into a Real Circus

It's being labeled as "The Greatest Estate Sale on Earth", and will take place at the actual birth home of P.T. Barnum in Bethel.

From the website, gsair.com, comes the announcement of this historic estate sale that will take place this Thursday (weather permitting) through Saturday, February 9 through 11, from 10 AM to 4 PM at 55 Greenwood Ave in Bethel. Parking could be an issue, but there will be a parking attendant on the premises.

During the P.T Barnum Estate Sale, everything must go, and let me tell you my friends, there will be tons of everything.

There's all kinds of history in Barnum's birth home. From antique furniture to P.T. Barnum memorabilia from the circus days to pottery, baskets, and kitchen items, along with mirrors, electronics, and outdoor furniture.

Barnum was born in Bethel in 1810 and was the founder of the The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus, which stood the test of time for 146 years. The circus' very last show will be on May 21, 2017 at the Nassau Coliseum.
