Paint-a-Pumpkin Fundraiser Sunday at Halas Farm in Danbury

This Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can help out a great cause and enjoy a family fun day at Halas Farm Market on Pembroke Rd. in Danbury.

It's their 11th annual Paint-a-Pumpkin Fundraiser to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Plus, you can also enjoy hay rides and music. They'll also have food, a bake sale, and raffles. The event has raised thousands of dollars since farm owners Michael and Laura Halas started it in 2005.

Their daughter Madison was diagnosed with the disease when she was only 2.
