This Sunday, from 11 AM to 4 PM, you can help out a great cause and enjoy a family fun day at Halas Farm Market on Pembroke Rd. in Danbury.

It’s their 12th annual Paint-a-Pumpkin Fundraiser to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Plus, you can also enjoy hay and pony rides, sand art, face painting and music. They’ll also have food, a bake sale, and raffles. The event has raised thousands of dollars since farm owners Michael and Laura Halas started it in 2005.

100% of donations go to help fight Type 1 diabetes for these children. The Halas' daughter, Madison, was diagnosed with the disease when she was only 2-years-old.
