Everyday you'll see planes take off and land the Danbury Airport if you live in that Western side of the Hat City, or if you take a trip to Danbury Fair.

Today wasn't a normal day as a private jet skidded off the runaway earlier this afternoon.

According to NBC Connecticut, minor injuries were reported after a jet skidded off runway 26, and ended up in a grassy area and into a fence. Three people were on board the airplane at the time, including the pilot.

No other details have been released.  Hope everyone is ok!  Any pilot I've spoken to who's landed at Danbury Airport (DXR) say it's difficult to land at, comparing it to landing in a bowl with all the mountains around it.
