It's been less then a week since the release of the Pokemon Go app and already it's become a viral phenomenon.

I've been interested in video games since the early days of the NES system, but I've never seen anything catch on as fast as Nintendo's latest app called Pokemon Go.

This time, it's not just the kids who are spending hours playing the game, it's the Millennials who can't get enough of this interactive experience.

What makes the game unique is its use of virtual reality. Actual Pokemon appear on your cell phone while your walking around searching for them. They're in your town, at the parks, heck, you might even have one in your backyard, or in our Kicks studio (see photo below). What really takes this game to the next level is that it also includes a map of your area powered by GPS. So, you can be standing on your own street and spot Pokemon, and collect items.

According to usatoday.comthe ironic part of this whole craze is that an industry constantly judged for keeping people indoors, is now responsible for pushing players outside in search of Pokemon, and people are now walking, and walking a lot.

If you haven't tried the game yet, or maybe you are trying to figure out what all the buzz is about, check out this video.
