Police: Eversource Lineman Killed By Falling Tree In Connecticut

Police are reporting that a subcontractor working for Eversource was killed on Sunday (January 21) when he was struck by a falling tree while repairing downed power lines.

According to wtnh.com, the power line repairs on Millbrook Road in Middletown had just been completed when a tree fell on top of the lineman, causing the fatal injuries. The victim has been identified as Howard Alonzo Duffy III of East Haddam, know to his family and friends as Lonnie. He was just 43 years old and leaves behind  a 22-year-old daughter, 10-year-old twin boys, and a fiancée.
