One of the most wild (strange) stories to come out of Connecticut in a long time has taken yet another turn.

As we reported last week, 52-year-old Robert Somley was facing just voyeurism charges for allegedly refusing to delete a video of a sex act with an unnamed woman. The Monroe, CT man now has more charges to defend against, violation of a protective order and tampering with a witness. But we're getting ahead of ourselves, let's back it up. The original story is truly unbelievable and goes a little something like this:

ALL ALLEGATIONS

  • He (Robert Somley) is moving out of his home with the help of unnamed woman.
  • He takes a "break."
  • She checks on him and finds him in the middle of self pleasure.
  • She leaves.
  • She goes back to check on him again, and he's still in the middle of the act, but now has allegedly introduced maple syrup and blueberry jelly.
  • This is reportedly a "turn on" to the woman and she now gets involved in the act.
  • She says she comes to find out he was allegedly recording the sex act, asks him to delete the video, he refuses, which is what landed him in this sticky situation.

Now, according, to CT Post, he has these new charges to deal with, because he is alleged to have reached out to the women and told her to drop the charges. He's being held in lieu of $150,000 bond. And if all that were not crazy enough, the guy said he got an invitation to appear on the Howard Stern Show and planned on doing it. If I thought I could have booked this guy as a radio guest to tell his side, I would have booked that interview right away. I still may try.
