A new Quinnipiac poll conducted a few days ago shows that 65 percent of all adults have a favorable or very favorable view of the Pope. Nine out of ten Catholics view Pope Francis favorably. Quinnipiac pollsters say their survey shows that Pope Francis is universally admired or revered by Americans.
  • Nothing beats a great sale.Amazon's Prime membership is on sale today only. The price today is $67 a year, compared to the usual 99 dollars.
  • Great quote from a baseball legend! Yogi Berra once said, "Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise, they won't come to yours." Friends and family will be at Yogi Berra's funeral this coming Tuesday in Montclair, New Jersey.The funeral service will be private but fans will get to pay their respects at a public memorial on October 1st at the Yogi Berra Museum in Montclair.
  • More fallout for Bill Cosby. The comedian no longer holds two honorary degrees. Fordham University in New York and Marquette University in Milwaukee both rescinded degrees they'd awarded to Cosby. In a statement, the president of Fordham said Cosby's acts were premeditated and ongoing. The president of Marquette said Cosby's behaviors go against the university's mission.
