  • Good news for Danbury. Praxair is moving forward with plans to create their new headquarters in Danbury. The company is planning to spend over 30-million-dollars to upgrade the former GE Capital building it recently purchased.
  • Praying for this family. A college student from Redding is missing in South Africa. George Washington University confirms that Nicholas Upton was last seen swimming in the Eastern Cape Province on Sunday. Upton is a junior at the Washington, DC college and he was participating in the school's study abroad program at the time of his disappearance.
  • A new report places Connecticut in the bottom third among states in the country for drivers. Bankrate.com's report analyzes factors that include the number of deadly crashes and vehicle thefts, commuting times, gas prices and insurance premiums in ranking the states. Connecticut is 35th on the list.
  • Google showing the love to the competition. Google says smartwatches that run its Android Wear software for mobile devices will now work with Apple's iPhones. The move made public yesterday expands Google's potential customers beyond hardware vendors.
