Yes, this is a real thing. No joke. International Fairy Day is a celebration of all fairies in the world and all those who wish to be a fairy.

You're probably like uh.. okay? Listen, this is all for fun and games, and it's kind of an offshoot of  the Shakespearean play "Midsummer's Night Dream", so why not have a little fantasy today? It's the summer, frolicking in the forest seems like an appropriate thing to do right now.

Have I lost you yet? Go get lost yourself! Have a tea party. Make cupcakes. Throw glitter everywhere. If you have any kind of young relative, like a daughter, niece, nephew (boys can be fairies too!), then give them an awesome day full of summer fun. That's what this is all really about.
