Putnam Hospital Center Free Mammogram Event

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and also a time where health care providers stress to women to get their yearly mammogram.

According to the Putnam Daily Voice, our friends at Putnam Hospital Center are holding a Free Mammogram Event for those who can't afford one normally. It will take place this Saturday October 24 for eligible women from 9 a.m. to noon.

This particular screening event will include a clinical breast exam and a mammogram, which is open to uninsured women between the ages of 50-64. 

Registration is required prior to attending, and the screenings will be at Putnam Hospital Center's Outpatient Radiology Department at 664 Stoneleigh Ave in Carmel, NY.
