Putting Things in Perspective…

I know we're all struggling financially right now. It's just the trend of the times at the moment and even if you are doing okay financially, you're still worried. But something just put things in perspective for me that I'm doing okay- Christmas Wishes with United Way.

We got a list of gifts that a less fortunate child would LOVE for Christmas. A lot of the items being legos. Abbott, Armand, Antonio, Abel. These are all names of kids that asked for Lego sets. Every child deserves a lego set, in my opinion. It almost brought me to tears thinking about these kids just wishing and hoping for a Lego set. Imagine how happy they would be once they lay their eyes on a brand new, shiny, beautiful Lego set.

And I know you may have kids and you have to buy them gifts as well, but listen, and trust me, your kids will realize eventually that great gestures go a long way in life and are the most meaningful  gifts of all.
