A decade after the last episode of her iconic TV sitcom Reba aired, Reba McEntire is hoping to bring the show back to television.

Mc Entire walked the red carpet at the ACM Honors in Nashville on Wednesday night (Aug. 23), and in light of all of the classic TV reboots currently underway, Entertainment Tonight asked her if there were any talks about Reba returning.

"There have been some in the past and hopefully some in the future too," McEntire reveals, adding that the cast members of the hit show are on board.  "We'd love to do it."

McEntire adds that we won't be seeing her as a judge on American Idol anytime soon, since she lacks the temperament.

"If anybody was bad, I don't think I could say, 'You were bad,' or, 'Honey, go get you a day job,''" McEntire admits. "I would definitely not be a Simon [Cowell]."

Reba ran on the WB and the CW from 2001 until 2007, and McEntire later starred in a short-lived comedy titled Malibu Country. She was cast as Sheriff Ruby Adair in a drama pilot titled Red Blooded that ABC failed to pick up for production in 2017, according to Deadline, though ABC Studios is still shopping the series around to cable networks.
