Robert DeNiro Spotted at Popular Connecticut Restaurant

Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford welcomed a legendary actor this past Sunday for Sunday brunch.

According to the Hartford Courant, the star of many legendary movies like Taxi Driver, GoodFellas and The Godfather Part II, Robert DeNiro walked into Max's Oyster Bar on Sunday for a bite to eat. The photo above shows DeNiro with the restaurant's general manager, Robert Cooke.

Managers at the restaurant said that DeNiro who resides in New York City enjoyed both the food and the service. Cooke wasn't sure why DeNiro was in West Hartford but the entire staff at Max's Oyster Bar was thrilled that the legendary actor came in for brunch.

DeNiro has appeared in several films that were partly filmed in Connecticut like the 1996 psychological thriller, Sleepers, The Good Shepard from 2006, and the Righteous Kill released in 2008.
