We've all seen animals while driving on the highway. Deer, squirrels, and even bears are not uncommon to be seen darting across roadways, but have you ever seen a cow on the highway? Some drivers on Interstate 395 in Griswold can now say they have seen a cow on the highway.

According to NBC Connecticut, Kristy Tardif took a video of a runaway cow walking down the highway. At one point it crossed in front of a car and the car slowed down to let it pass. Eventually the cow made her way to the breakdown lane, allowing cars to pass her, albeit slowly.

Turns out the cow belongs to Glen Norman of Norman Farm. He said she went missing on Tuesday afternoon and he had spent the day looking for her.

Thankfully, the cow made it back to the barn safely. She wondered home around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

I kind of wish the cow had a camera on her. It would have been fun to see what other places were included in her adventure.

Here is the video from NBC Connecticut that Kristy Tardif captured.
