He was left tied up at Lover's Leap in New Milford and then turned over to Animal Control before he found his way to the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford.

It's a sad story for Samuel our Pet of the Week, he's definitely had it rough recently, but now you have a chance to give this story a happy ending.

Samuel is looking for a new forever home, and he just wants to be loved. Despite the way he was treated, he's such a happy and friendly dog, and would love a new family to call his own. He gets along great with people and other dogs, he's a little on the thin side, but loves to eat, so that could all change very quickly.

He may be 8-years old, but he's young at heart and so gentle. So take a chance at a senior dog, you'll be glad you did.
