Scoops N More in Carmel Voted Best Putnam County Ice Cream

As we get into July and the dog days of summer, a nice sugar cone of ice cream really makes the day!

Our friends at the Putnam Daily Voice conducted a survey on the best ice cream in Putnam County. The guys over there kept this contest going since June 4, and many of our favorite local ice cream establishments made it to the finalist round.

Red Rooster in Brewster on Rt 22 made it to the

final round, which is one of my personal favorite places to go. A little ice cream and a little golf always works well together. However, they didn't go home with the big prize.

Scoops N More in Carmel ended up winning the whole contest, giving them bragging rights of having the "Best Ice Cream in Putnam County"! Getting 41 percent of the overall vote granted them the win! Congrats guys!
