Saturday Night Live goes through its ups and downs. The show has been on for 40 years, so they are bound to have some bad stretches. Sometimes when you catch it in a bad stretch it's hard to start watching the show again, even if it is funny.

I started watching the show in the years with Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Space, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and Molly Shannon (to name a few). The skits were funny and they had a talented cast, but I haven't watched a full episode in a while.

Clips will show up online, so I usually just watch those, but this weekend the clips made me want to watch the show. So for the first time in a while we watched a full episode of Saturday Night Live and it was good! The actors were funny and so were the skits (most of them).

As much as I like the skits though, that wasn't my favorite part. My favorite part of the show was Adele. I know she is not a country singer, but her voice is amazing and powerful. I told my husband that not many musicians can give me goosebumps from their singing, but she does. She puts so much emotion into her songs and you can feel that emotion. It's hard to explain, but you can watch the clip below to see what I mean. To top it off, she's only 27!

One thing is for sure...Adele's CDs are now on my Christmas list. Yeah, that's right, I said CDs.
