It has been said that Mark Twain is the originator of the phrase, "If you don't like the weather in New England, wait 5 minutes." If you have to ask what that phrase means, stick around. We are about to get on line for a grand meteorological buffet.

When I heard that there was a chance for a snowstorm this Saturday night, I had to get the news straight from the source. I asked our Meteorologist, Bill Jacquemin, to give us the scoop:

The temperatures will stay close to normal today then warm some tomorrow with rain and showers. The storm will move away on Friday with the rain ending and clearing and colder weather returning. Highs Friday will be in the morning then temperatures will fall through the afternoon Friday.  A storm  will develop to our south on Saturday. It appears the storm will spread snow over the region for Saturday night as well will be on the northeast side of the storm.  It will be cold enough for just snow Saturday Night.  The storm will move away Sunday with near normal temperatures into next week.  The true winter weather pattern will wait to return in March. -Bill Jacquemin-Connecticut Weather Center

As always, we'll keep you posted. Stay tuned!
