Some Good Eats at Panchos and Gringos in Brookfield!

Yesterday I discussed my favorite thing at Ponchos and Gringos in Brookfield, which is the guacamole cart. Today I'll tell you about the rest of the meal and what we had, in case you are thinking of having dinner there and would like some suggestions :-)

Starting with the kids, they both had cheese quesadillas. My 3 year old daughter and my 17 month old son both loved the quesadillas. There was not a crumb left on the plate when they were done!

My husband decided on the Arroz Con Pollo and he was very pleased with his meal. It was a generous helping of rice, chicken, and chorizo. He ended up bringing half of it home and having it for lunch yesterday!

I went with one of the combo dishes. I love these! I picked the Veracruz, which is a beef taco, cheese enchilada, and a beef burrito. Yum! I like that you can have some variety with the combination platters.

I always like to look at the dessert menu to see if anything looks good. There were a few different desserts that we wanted to share as a family, but we narrowed it down to one...the Sopaipilla. Oh my goodness was this delicious. Cinnamon, sugar, honey, whipped cream, and ice cream...how can you go wrong? It was pretty big too, so it's definitely a good sharing dessert!

Oh and I can't forget the margarita! My husband had one with his meal and said it was very good. They have lots of different margaritas on the menu, so pick a fun one to go with your meal!
