It is (finally) getting warmer out and this weekend is going to be beautiful. With the warmer weather we will start seeing more motorcycles on the road.

My husband rides and I admit that I get a little worried when he takes his bike out. Not because he is reckless, I worry that people in cars won't be paying attention and will hit him.

Distracted driving is becoming such a problem in this country. The other day we were out for a walk and a car drove past us, but the girl who was driving was looking down (presumably at her phone) more than she was watching the road. That stuff seriously scares me.

Here are some motorcycle safety tips for those driving cars and some motorcycle safety tips for those driving motorcycles.

Now that the weather is warming up, more people will be on the road. Whether you are in a car, truck, on a motorcycle, bicycle, it doesn't matter. Everyone needs to be aware of their surroundings and watch the road.

Please, be safe and watch out for others. The texts can wait.
