Star Trek's George Takei Coming to ConnectiCon

George Takei is boldly going where no man has gone before ... actually lots have gone before, but he is coming to ConnectiCon this summer.

George Takei, who best known for his role as Mr. Sulu in Star Trek, will be one of the featured speakers this summer at ConnectiCon. The convention, which draws thousands from all over the country, features an array of pop culture, sci-fi, comics, video games, board games and more.

According to nbcconnecticut.com, the event will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center, as well as the Hartford Marriott Downtown and the Hartford Hilton and runs from July 9 through 12.
