I have never seen an episode of The Walking Dead, so now what do I do? When I googled "How to survive a zombie apocalypse" many sites came up and pretty much the first thing every one of them said was "Watch The Walking Dead". I guess I'm SOL as they say, but am I really?

That got me to thinking (I do that sometimes) what happens if there really is a zombie apocalypse? I won't have time to binge watch this show. I would think that it would more or less resemble what you should do when there is a snowstorm in the forecast. So, I made my own list of things to do just in case a corpse is reanimated and is trying to suck out everyone's brain. (gross)

    Make Sure You Have Milk

It makes sense, doesn't it? Protein, nutritional, it will give you everything you need to fight off those undead dead things that are reanimating and making life creepy. Except, of course, if they chomp on the grid and the power goes out which means all that milk would spoil. That would actually be the smartest thing that they could do but since only parts of their brains are reanimated (that's what I've heard anyway) I think (there I go again) we're ok with this one.

    Bread Too

Bread is important, but there's lots of carbs there so, hmmmm, now I'm not so sure. But carbs are good for an instant sorce of energy so if we're fighting reanimated dead things we might need all the energy we can get.

    DON'T Have an Underground Shelter

Zombies are good at being underground. After all, that's where they live when they are not reanimated. I would think that the smart thing to do is to build a treehouse. I'm thinking they don't climb very well and if they tried the visual itself would provide icebreaking and stress-relieving humor.

    Don't Stock Zombie Food

What the heck do zombies actually eat anyway? Has this ever been determined? While you might automatically think "brains," why? and well, just WHY? According to Scifi.Stackexchange.com zombies don't even have a digestive system. They're dead. Dead things don't digest stuff. It's not their thing. So get all the mac and cheese you want, the zombies don't want that either and it's total comfort food.

    Watch Seinfeld

Since none of my answers make any sense at all and I really don't want to watch that creepy show, I'll make some popcorn and watch Seinfeld (in my treehouse, of course)
