You may have Monday off after the weekend. You may not (I don't). Whatever the case is, you need to stop, pause, and think about one of the greatest men to ever exist on this earth: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. If you don't know who that is, then a.) shame on you  (seriously, where have you been) and b.) PLEASE go read a book. But I'm hoping you're aware and I'm hoping I don't need to convince you how awesome he really was.

See, Dr. MLK Jr. went to the same college that I went to, Boston University, so not only am I proud to call this man a fellow BU alumnus, but I'm proud to say I was able to walk the same halls that he walked. Extraordinary footsteps, no doubt.

Whatever you do this weekend, whether it be just a pause in your daily routine, some meditation, or just doing a small act of kindness, just know that you are extending the belief's of this man's beautiful philosophy. We are all in this together. We can all grow up to be something. We are all each other's family.
