Every Tuesday Morning on KICKS 105.5, we feature a Pet of the Week from the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford. This week, since Melody is on vacation, I figured I'd give you an inside look at the place the rescue dogs and cats call home.

We talk a lot about the Animal Welfare Society each week when we feature one of their dogs or cats during our Adopt and Save Program, so when I had the opportunity to visit their facility a year or so ago, we took our cameras so I could give you a behind the scenes tour of the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford. One thing I took away from my visit was the love and attention each one of the pets gets from the great staff. They really enjoy their work and they are so dedicated to making each animal's stay a happy one.
