Taking a Walk Down Memory Lane During our Wedding Filled Weekend

This past weekend was a wedding filled weekend. Unfortunately, we were only able to attend one, but were there in spirit for the other wedding. I love weddings, because it’s a day filled with happiness and love…something this world needs more of.

The wedding we were able to attend took place at The Candlewood Inn, which is where my husband and I got married. It was so nice to go back to this beautiful venue to experience it as a guest. Things move so fast when it’s your own wedding that you don’t always get to look around and appreciate your surroundings.

Of course, my husband and I were brought back to our own wedding and what a beautiful day it was. We had our pictures taken at the Pleasants in Newtown first and then moved on to The Candlewood Inn. After being at The Candlewood Inn again I wanted to go through our wedding pictures and take a trip down memory lane. I loved that candy bar!

I have to say our photographers, Lisa and her son John from Autumn Studios Photography, did an awesome job. The pictures are beautiful and it brings me right back to that day.

It was so nice to share in someone else’s happy day at that venue. Their wedding was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the dance floor was always full. Congratulations to Melissa and Manny!

We also had friends in Nebraska get married this past weekend and those of you that are Dr. Who fans would have loved their wedding cake. There was a TARDIS on top! They also had a beautiful wedding. Just wish we could have been there, but the pictures show how wonderful the day was. Congratulations to Sara and Greg!

It was a happy weekend.
