Taylor Swift Betrayal?

Taylor Swift just came out with her new album- 1989- and it has had the best selling week since 2002. So, nobody has sold more records in one week since 2002. That's amazing, especially in this day and age- nobody really buys albums anymore. BUT Taylor's fans do and oh boy did they. Also, these massive sales may have something to do with the fact that Taylor pulled her full catalog off Spotify. Taylor is playing a good game, nonetheless, and it's working for her.

My big question for you revolves around the fact that Taylor Swift has just released her first ALL POP album. No country whatsoever. She usually does a pop-country fusion album, but not this time. Do you feel like Taylor has turned her back on country? Do you feel betrayed by her? Do you think this is a good move for her? Do you think she will ever return to country music?
