  • Back ups were massive during rush-hour yesterday afternoon after a teenage girl jumped from an overpass onto I-84 in Danbury. The incident happened at the overpass near exit 5. The girl was injured but remained conscious as she was placed into an ambulance and taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment.
  • Time to get your Java on - it's National Coffee Day. Dunkin Donuts is offering a free medium cup of dark roast, hot or iced. McDonald's, Whole Foods, Krispy Kreme, Peets, Caribou Coffee and Wawa are also getting in on the giveaway action.
  • Children in Connecticut now have the right to sue for the loss of love and affection when a parent is seriously injured. Connecticut's Supreme Court made the ruling yesterday along with setting some limits. Damages can only be awarded while a child is a minor and only between the time the parent is injured and the time that parent dies.
  • It's back! The 1990 classic movie "Home Alone" is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It will be coming back to theaters for two days only. Fans of the John Hughes film can see 8-year-old Kevin McCallister protect his home from two burglars in theaters once again this Nov. 8 and 11 at select showings across the country.
