If you think texting and diving isn't a deadly combination, then you need to see for yourself how bad it can be.

You know you've done it, we all have a some point and time, but it's probably worse then drinking and driving. It's texting while you drive, and today you can actually see what could happen if you do text and drive, but this one time it's completely safe.

AT&T's nationally-touring 3D virtual reality simulator is coming to the Putnam County DMV for one day only...Today !!!!

According to patch.com, AT&T has teamed up with the Putnam County DMV, to be able to let you see just how dangerous texting and driving can be. The best thing about the simulator is that you actually see what can happen when you text and drive, but no one get's hurt.

New research is out and it shows that 7 out of 10 of us have done some type of texting and driving, or just using your smartphone in some way while you drive. Believe it or not just taking your eyes off the road for a second or two can be deadly.

This special educational experience will be happening today from 10 am till 4:30 pm at the Putnam County DMV on Geneva Drive in Brewster, and it's all part of a program called "It Can (All) Wait".
