Fall is such a great time of the year. The air starts to get a little crisp, there's the spectacular foliage that we enjoy here in the Northeast, and of course, those fall treats, like pumpkin pie and cider. But why not have some fun and KICKS it up a notch with some hard cider?

According to patch.com, now there are more places to sample hard cider in New York State then ever before. Did you know that?

A few years back, the Farm Cideries Law went into effect. It's a law that was signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo that has made it much easier for farms to get a license if they make hard cider with apples grown exclusively in New York State. Because of this law, the number of New York farms making hard cider has tripled, and that's a good thing for all of us.
