The town of New Fairfield is getting ready to celebrate it's 275th anniversary this weekend on Saturday.

New Fairfield Day is on Saturday throughout the center of town from 11am-2pm, and this event is free to all to attend! There will be a farmers market where visitors can purchase various goodies.

This is actually the 3rd year of the tradition, to help bring town unity and promote local businesses and events, according to The News Times.

The farmer's market will open at 9am on the Memorial Field behind the Town Hall, and there will be booths setup outside of Stop & Shop in the parking lot.

Also - if you have a chance to drive through the town during the Fall season in general, check out the adorable scarecrows!
