Candlewood Lake Authority Looking for Volunteers, Sponors for Cleanup at New Fairfield Town Beach

The Candlewood Lake Authority is getting set for it's annual 2015 Candlewood Lake Cleanup on May 16 and they need your help.

The John Marsicano Memorial Lake Cleanup is set to take place at New Fairfield Town Beach with the rain date May 17.  Come out and help keep the lake that we love clean and prepare for the summer 2015 season!

The Candlewood Lake Authority is looking for volunteers to clean-up, volunteer boat captains and anyone willing to help out. All volunteers will get a clean up t-shirt, a 2015 Candlewood Lake magnet, and lunch. They are also looking for sponsors to help fund this event and their Dragon Boat Race on Aug. 15.

When you're done at cleaning up come to our awesome summer kick-off event as a reward for all your hard work. We'll be partying at Ives Concert Park for the Brews and BBQ Festival where we'll have lots of craft beer, BBQ and awesome live music from three amazing bands, including Robert Randolph and the Family band.
