The hallowed halls of the Grand Ole Opry’s ‘Opry City Stage’ opened in Times Square, today. The Opry City Stage restaurant and bar actually has two separate stages within, which is definitely going to upgrade nightlife for us country music fans in the city and the tri-state area. The restaurant -- concert venue is located right between M&M World and Sbarro.

What’s known as the ‘crossroads of the world’ is now playing host to the Grand Ole Opry’s first and only venture outside of Tennessee in the 92 years it’s been in existence. It will introduce New York's millions of visitors each year to the country music cultural experience, as well as offer a menu boasting the best of the south. The Opry City Stage is spread out over four floors and includes as their website says:

the sights and sounds of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, including never before seen photographs capturing nine decades of unforgettable Opry moments, artifacts from the Opry Archives documenting the near-century story of the radio and stage show, one-of-a-kind art pieces, and more.

LOCASH will perform live New Year's Eve to help ring in 2108.
