A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds in the United States according to childhelp.org.

In 1995, a clinical social worker and a motorcycle lover got together to form 'Bikers Against Child Abuse' which eventually spun into an international organization. The western Connecticut chapter of B.A.C.A invites you to their Open House on Saturday, July 22 at VFW Post 308 at 18 Tinkerfield Road in Newtown anytime between 2 and 8:00PM. Join 'Murray the Wheel' and 'Social Convention' along with plenty of food and raffles all to help stamp out child abuse. Tickets are only $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the Open House.

These special bikers have a mission. That mission is that no child should have to live in fear. They provide aid, safety, comfort, and support for kids who have been sexually, emotionally, and physically abused. Each member of B.A.C.A. receives special instructions from a Licensed Mental Health Professional to arm them with the knowledge they need to help keep a kid safe in any type of situation.
