The William Raveis Ride and Walk Was a Success

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday morning at Jennings Beach in Fairfield for this great event.

We held the first annual William Raveis Ride and Walk to benefit the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation on Saturday. The weather held out for us as we had a perfectly sunny morning and midday for this event.

A 25 mile bike ride took place, a shorter 12 mile bike ride, a walk, and a 100 yard dash for the kids as the day rolled on. 100% of the proceeds raised that morning went directly to this cause.

We were joined by not only supporters and local businesses, but also cancer survivors, and researchers from Sloan Kettering, Yale, NYU and more. The Damon Runyon Cancer Research brings a new generation of research and has invested in over $280 million in research.
