I find it quite amusing that every winter storm throughout the past number of years absolutely needs to be named by the 'weather experts.'

It's official, The Weather Channel has officially named this next winter storm for Sunday night and Monday, Linus.  I find it absolutely comical and quite unnecessary to name storms, but what do I know?

The latest forecast calls for heavy snow overnight Sunday into Monday and changing to a mix in some areas.

Forecasts for Greater Danbury, Putnam and Westchester call for anywhere from 6-10 inches of snow, with locally heavier amounts. Keep up to date with closings and Bill Jacquemin's local forecast with the KICKS Storm Watch.
