Top 10 Reasons We Love Lists
Why do we love lists? I've got the top 10 reasons we love lists right here.
It's pretty clear that as we read a list, we know what's coming and that is usually the next thing on the list.
When we know what's coming next, it helps one's mind feel like we're in control of something. Isn't that a breath of fresh air, to feel like you're in control of anything.
A list gives you a sense of organization. Whether it's 1, 2, 3 or 3,2,1 there is an order it follows. BAM! You're organized! Next.
Why do we love bullet points?
- they're literally to the point
- without a point, a list is pointless
- the next point is right there on point
