Tucker Beathard is no stranger to the media. His father, Casey Beathard, has written country hits for Gary Allan, Eric Church and even Kenny Chesney. His grandfather is former NFL general manager, Bobby Beathard. But at 21-years-old, Tucker is making his own way, and making a name for himself.

With a similar story to Jake Owen, who was on his way to playing professional golf until a wakeboarding accident sidelined him and made him pick up the guitar, Tucker Beathard thought that he would become a professional baseball player until he was also injured. He told ew.com:

I tore my shoulder and it took me a while to bounce back. I had a lot of time to reflect — I realized I’d be a lot happier doing what I love. So I called the coach the day before I was supposed to report and said, ‘I’m not coming.

Here's a sneak peak at Tucker Beathard's first single, "Rock On"
