Today was the annual United Way of Western Connecticut's Day of Action all around Greater Danbury and beyond.

Today, local employees from companies all around the area gave up a good chunk of their days to help those in need. Companies such as Cartus in Danbury, Boehringer Ingelheim of Ridgefield, Pitney Bowes in Danbury, Union Savings Bank and MANY more helped out the local communities today.

Various employees here at Townsquare Media, including myself, met up at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury this morning for the annual Kick-Off breakfast. Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton helped ring in the 2014 Day of Action as he stopped by the breakfast as well.

Two teams from the radio stations split up and helped out at MCCA in Danbury and The New Milford Senior Center. It certainly turned out to be a great day for some outside volunteer work!
