In order to really be able to discuss the restaurant, my family and I decided we should probably have dinner there. So we went for dinner last night ... *sigh* the things I have to do for work ;-)

There are so many delicious dishes at Ponchos and Gringos. From the chips they offer you when you first sit down to their many desserts to end the meal, everything is very good. It's hard to pick a favorite item, but there is something that I always have to get when I eat there and that is the fresh guacamole.

I love the guacamole cart! They bring it right to your table and prepare it fresh while you watch. You can make it spicy with jalapenos or you can keep it mild. There is nothing like fresh guacamole and they do it right. I could actually make a meal out of the guacamole and chips, it is that good!

So if you have never been to Ponchos and Gringos or you have been and have not ordered the fresh guacamole, I highly recommend ordering it during your next meal there.
