I spent a week or so out in Colorado and enjoyed quite the tour at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado.

First off, let me tell you how cute of a town Golden is. It's a good old western town, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, with this giant factory just on the side of town which is the home of Coors.

So I learned that Adolph Coors, the founder of the brand, invented the use of aluminum cans for packaging beer. He decided not to patent it, ensuring that the entire industry would follow suit. He is also responsible for the beginning stages of recycling beer cans, and getting your deposit back!  How about that, huh?

Here are some photos, including one looking down on Golden, CO and the Coors Brewery from 7,500 feet up at Lookout Mountain.
