What I Learned in Berlin, Germany [PHOTOS]

I had an absolute blast the past week and a half across the pond in Europe more specifically in Berlin, Germany.

It's so crazy how much history comes from just one city from the days of World War II through the early 1990's.

I still can't believe that the Berlin Wall only came down 25 years ago in 1990.  Yes it began in late 1989, but the whole reuniting of Germany didn't start to take place until 1990. Here are some photos of a few Berlin Wall Memorials, the German Parliament, and a few other places.

In addition to Germany being 6 time zones ahead of us in CT/NY, it's also home to so many giant corporations like Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, and Aldi supermarkets, of which I saw many of while traveling around Berlin.

If you plan on traveling to Deutschland, make sure you learn a little bit of German, just some basic words to help get around. Make sure you eat like a pig and enjoy some delicious beer like Franziskaner, which was my beverage of choice!
