When a TV Show Breaks Your Heart

I'm fairly new here to the Kicks 105.5 crew, so this may come to a shock to some of you, but I am a huge TV nerd. I love getting into new and old TV shows alike, and understanding the story driven by the character. It's also cool to leave your real life problems behind you, and get lost in a great story.

Friday Night Lights, Parks and Rec, The Office and The Walking Dead are some of my favorite shows, but there's one show in particular that has been my favorite for about eight years now. I know it sounds silly, but Castle on ABC has been one of my go to shows since it aired. To be honest my Grandmother told me to watch it and I was hooked. To give you a run down, it's about a mystery writer who follows around a homicide detective and after a while, they fall in love. The show is full of mystery, romance and comedy it honestly has it all. My description does it no justice.

Yesterday, after eight season whomever is in charge over there at ABC decided to dismiss the lead actress from the series, Stana Katic. She plays kick butt detective Kate Beckett. She's not the title character, that title belongs to Nathan Fillion (Richard Castle) which for some makes the news a little easier, but still has left me baffled. A little more background, the two characters Beckett and Castle are married in the series! Okay, so, they were a little dysfunctional this season, but not enough to end everything. There is no word yet on how the show will write Beckett off, but I'm crossing my fingers they don't kill her off.

The finale of the show airs May 16, so, if you hear me a little sad on the 17th you'll know why. What's your favorite TV show? Did it end on a bad note like I think Castle will? Let us know on our Facebook page.
