I have two wonderful boys. Both have grown into tall, handsome and good-hearted men. One had a pretty normal childhood, but my younger son did not. He was the victim of bullying for years.

My oldest child, Johnny, is 28-years-old. He has a wonderful sense of humor, was always the class clown, teachers pet and always had great friends. Greg also has a wonderful sense of humor, but Greg also has autism and has been the victim of bullying all of his life. It was so bad, that to this day, as a 23-year-old man, he is still deeply affected by it.

Greg didn't get invited to birthday parties or play dates or get to do the things that most kids do growing up. Can you imagine going through high school without a friend? No, probably not, but he did.

Oh, don't get me wrong, there were a few angels along the way that made him feel worthy, but they were few and far between. Certainly not enough to combat the bullying of others.

He made it, he's strong. He's the strongest person I know. Although he still struggles with things, he's amazing, funny, smart, handsome and has such a good heart.

I won't go into the details, some of them I still struggle with myself. But I will tell you that some of it got so bad, that we actually had one kid arrested. The point of this is that every person on this planet has worth. Everyone! If you see someone bullying, if you hear of an incident, DO SOMETHING! If you stand by and not do anything YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY!

Don't let what happened to Daniel Briggs ever happen again.
