He was once a fitness guru to stars like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Idol, Usher, Annie Lenox, and others, and now millions use his famous workouts as seen on TV, at all hours of the day, by way of his infomercials.

Raised in Trumbull Connecticut, Tony Horton is the creator of the commercial home exercise regimen P90X. He’s long since moved to California, where he did some acting and stand up comedy gigs, as well as commercials and eventually he stepped into the ultimate role of the beach body fitness expert that he is today.

About his youth and some of the time spent in Trumbull, Connecticut, Tony says he was a "98-pound weakling" dealing with “a speech impediment”.

In an LA Times article he said:

I used to get beat up at the bus stop. I was always the last kid picked for teams.

He has gone on to turn that around and develop the P90X, Power 90 Extreme workout system which has helped him amass a small fortune, and a claim to fame. His videos have racked up more than $700 million in revenue.
