Five of the Best Moms on Televsion
Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and this morning on the show, we were talking about TV moms. The question was, “Which TV mom would you want as your mom?”
It’s pretty hard to top my mom, because she’s awesome, and does a lot to help me and my husband, but I started thinking about who I would pick.
So, here are my top five choices for TV moms:
- 1
Angela Bower
It’s hard to be a single mom to a young boy, but Angela did it and did it well. Granted she had the help of Tony once he and Samantha moved in, but she also acted as the mother figure to Sam (whose mother had passed away). She was classy and very intelligent. Plus, she had a fun influence from her own mom, Mona.
- 2
Reba Hart
She was tough, but loved her kids and helped them out as much as she could. Plus, she’s very forgiving. The woman was able to be in the same room with her ex-husband and the woman with who he cheated, without doing physical harm either of them.
- 3
Samantha Stevens
Who wouldn’t want a mom that can do magic? She used her magic for good, so I guess you could call her a good witch. Growing up in a family with someone who has magical could make for some fun times. Plus, if I inherit the “magic gene” that would be a big added bonus.
- 4
Elyse Keaton
An intelligent mom of three who loves life and has lots of patience. I mean, the woman had to have a good amount of patience to put up with three kids (four in later episodes) who were all so different. Just look at Mallory and Alex, the only thing they had in common was who their parents are.
- 5
Lucy Ricardo
Life would be anything but boring having Lucy as your mom. She’s entertaining and very smart. How many times did Ricky tell her she couldn’t be in the show, yet she somehow would make it into the show. That’s a determined woman who can make things happen and if she makes you laugh along the way, that’s even better.
