There have been 12 earthquakes in Connecticut in the last week, and the last one hit Thursday morning. So, I started thinking about all the songs that have to do with "shaking" ... can you think of any more?

According to NBC Connecticut, the 2.2 magnitude earthquake occurred at 4:39 a.m. in the Moosup area of Plainfield. There have been earthquakes in Connecticut for the last four days in a row.

Local and state officials will meet with residents on Friday to discuss emergency preparedness.

The first earthquake happened last Thursday about two miles south of the Danielson section of Killingly. (A magnitude of 2.0 to 2.2.) The second, and largest, happened Monday morning. It registered between 3.1 and 3.3 was east of Plainfield.

The Weston Observatory actually recorded six seismic events in the area Monday, including a 1.3-magnitude rumble just after noon and a 1.2-magnitude jolt just after 1 p.m.

A 2.3 magnitude quake shook the town again Tuesday morning, according to the USGS. Two more rattled Plainfield Wednesday, a 1.9 magnitude earthquake shortly after 6:30 a.m. and a smaller one at 8:10 a.m.

So here's the Top 5 Shaking songs I thought of:

5- All Shook Up- Elvis Presley

4- Whole Lotta Shakin Going On- Jerry lee lewis

3- Country Girl Shake it for Me- Luke Bryan

2- Shake Your Booty- K.C. and the Sunshine Band

1- I Feel The Earth Move- Carole King

That's my "Top 5"... I'm sure you have your own favorites. We can always add to the list when the next tremor hits!
