Why I Wait to Buy Candy After a Holiday

You work hard for your money and even more today than before. Everybody is always looking for a bargain these days right? Well I have come to the conclusion that I will NEVER buy candy before a holiday ever again.

I recently stopped into my local pharmacy last night to pick up a prescription, when I walked through the discount aisle and thought to myself

What do we have here? Valentine's Day Candy for 75 percent off!!??

Not only did they have the normal heart-shaped Russel Stover candies and the sweethearts, but also the heart-shaped Reeses peanut butter cups!..My favorite! .. So what if the packages are pink and are intended for Valentine's Day..they taste just as good and a heck of a lot cheaper!

So the next time you reach into your candy stash, and someone says to you..umm your candy is heart-shaped still...You can shrug off the insult knowing you paid less than half of what they paid!
