About five months ago, a little puppy named Zelda was our Kicks 105.5 Pet of the Week. She was adopted and thought she had found her forever home, then why is she back again?

Zelda's story is all too common. A family comes into the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford, sees the cutest puppy in the world, and immediately adopts it, giving little or no regard that having a puppy is like having a very young child.

Soon, the demands of having a puppy are taking its toll on the family, and they return to the shelter bringing the dog with them. It's an honest mistake that happens all the time.

Well, fast forward about five months, and Zelda is back as our featured Pet of the Week.
